Company search diagnostics

While diagnostics are available, we automatically record changes inside the company search field, relative timing, company results displayed, selections, warnings and onward actions to troubleshoot and improve company search. There is no opt-in step. Public company names, numbers, types and statuses are included, but not addresses. Please enter only company names or Companies House numbers.
Records are stored privately using Cloudflare D1 and accessible only to authorised operators. They do not go to PostHog. No persistent visitor identity, advertising click ID, IP address, payment information or recording of other fields is stored in diagnostics. Automated filtering removes obvious accidental sensitive information but cannot guarantee all input is anonymous.
Records become unavailable 30 days after creation and are removed from the live database by hourly cleanup. Cloudflare recovery copies can retain removed records for up to a further 30 days (7 days on the Free plan). They are not used for routine analysis. Recovery must preserve deletion requests and expiry.
Open Privacy in the company-search page’s footer and press Stop recording and delete to stop and request deletion for that visit. Recording stays off for the rest of that page visit; a reload or new visit starts recording again. The page shows whether deletion succeeded. Keep the visit reference if you want to request deletion by email later; without it we cannot identify your record. Company search and obtaining an LEI work even when recording is stopped.
